T'ai Chi - Level One
What began as an ancient Chinese martial art is now practiced throughout the world for its profound benefits to health and wellness. T'ai Chi is recognized by its slow, graceful, meditative movements. This session teaches the basic conditioning exercises and a short practice routine which lays the foundation for further study. The resultant benefit is a stronger, more flexible body, free of tension, increasing the body's ability to heal itself. T'ai Chi can be practiced anywhere and all that is required is loose, comfortable attire. This course is suitable for a variety of ages, teenagers through senior citizens.
